As a part of my Fine Arts Painter Portfolio, here is my...
Artist Profile
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a small region called Ciudadela.
Started drawing at the age of 6 and at the age of 12 I started painting with oil.
I got inspiration from my mother who was an artist and her side of the family.
At the age of 12, I won an artist competition in the city of Verona in Italy. The winning entry consisted of a pencil drawing and an acrylic painting on paper.
At the age of 14-16, I exhibited oil paintings in various art galleries in Provincia Verona, Italy.
At the age of 15, I studied for two years at the Michelangelo Buonarroti Art School in Verona, Italy.
Then at the age of 17, I began to study for two years at the Art School Nani in Verona, Italy.
During school time, I painted various theater decorations in different school environments and door glass in cafés
and boutiques.
For a period of 4 years, I painted portraits of people who sent in pictures of themselves.
A 5-year period followed in which I concentrated on painting "mandala".
Have also been sculpturing in both wood and plaster/cement.
One of my oil paintings from 1980 depicting Santa Teresa can be seen in the church, Basílica Santa Teresa di Gesu Bambino in Verona.
In the early ’90s, I was commissioned by the "Colegio de la Inmacualada" to create a sculpture of "Mary and the Child Jesus". The Sculpture can still be seen in the school/church in Córdoba, Argentina.
For many years I have drawn inspiration from the Viking age and female shamans, which later led her to portray more strong female role models such as Maria Magdalena, Frida Kahlo, and others.
For my current art, I get inspiration from nature, elves, fairies and faunas who all have a significant role in my artistry.
In my search for a life in harmony with nature, I eventually ended up in Scandinavia, where I feel a strong connection with its history and culture.
