Shipping service

We are glad to bring our customers great value and service. We are proud to offer international shipping services. However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to. If you happen to be from one of those countries we will contact you. 

 

Lost/missing package

gabrielalago.com is not liable if the incorrect address is placed during the checkout process. Please make sure that your billing and shipping address are correct before processing your order. If we have made an error we will fully take responsibility for the original order that was made for you at no charge.

 

Shipping times

Shipping time varies by location and what shipping option will be right for the item you have chosen.

In the order process, you’ll be given an estimated delivery date. 

 

The above-mentioned doesn’t include our 1-5 day processing time. This processing time is the supplier's average processing time. Based on many factors, processing time can sometimes extend beyond this range. 

 

All shipping times exclude clearance/customs delays.

 

Due to COVID-19, the supply chains have been affected on a global scale, Therefore some shipments can be delayed and we apologize for this.

Free shipping

Shipping costs normally depend on weight, size, shipping method and to which country the goods are to be sent. 

However, we have chosen free delivery so no hassling around with different delivery costs. Important to know is the following, there are exceptions where we can not influence different costs/fees in connection with the delivery process. Read more down below.

 

Due to Great Britain's withdrawal from the European Union, a new Tax has been implemented for orders being sent to Great Britain. This new Tax has been brought on by Brexit and is called a Value Added Tax, or VAT for short.

Custom fees

We are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have been shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive in your country. These fees may include import obligations, customs clearance fees, and value taxes (VAT).

 

Declaration fee

Different countries have customs and import rules that may differ from each other. In some cases, this may result in a surcharge off, a declaration fee. In these cases, the relevant post office can contact the customer when the ordered package has arrived at the post office with a request for approval of an imposed declaration fee in order to be able to pick up the ordered item. This is not something we can influence, but it is up to each country's post or customs authority to decide. We are not responsible for any such cost.

Uncollected package

We charge a fee of 44 euros for orders that have not been picked up from the postal agent where the order was sent. The fee refers to costs for return shipping, handling and administration.

 

Tracking information

At the moment this service is not integrated into our system so unfortunately, we can not offer any tracking number.

 

Packaging

For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase will sometimes be sent in separate packages, even if you’ve specified combined shipping. If you have any other questions, please contact us and we will do our best to help you out. 

Packaging of the artwork

We send your ordered artwork in a protective package of cardboard, also called a picture cover. Perfect protection for fragile and flat products such as your ordered Fine Art products. We use this type of packaging for its powerful covers that optimally protect the works of art you have ordered in the online gallery. The picture covers are made of "one well" or "two well" for the best protection of your ordered artwork. We send your ordered artwork in a protective package of cardboard, also called a picture cover. Perfect protection for fragile and flat products such as your ordered Fine Art products. We use this type of packaging for its powerful covers that optimally protect the works of art you have ordered in the online gallery. The picture covers are made of "one well" or "two well" for the best protection of your ordered artwork.

 

Also, each ordered item is wrapped in bubble wrap. The object and the bubble wrap are then surrounded by corrugated cardboard to further withstand any shocks during transport. Then the object/objects are placed in a box. If the object (s) with its surrounding bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard were to be slightly smaller in circumference than the inner dimensions of the carton, cartons are filled with some soft material so as not to lie and chafe in cartons during transport.
